Job Summary:
They are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Manager to lead a traditional housing and apartment scheme in Buckinghamshire, which has 35 units from oversite to handover to complete.
With plenty of future projects in the pipeline south of this location in Berkshire, we are seeking a driven and positive Site Manager to join the business for the long term, be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of the project, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, health, and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the construction process from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Lead and motivate a team of site staff, including an Assistant Site Manager and sub-contractors, to achieve project goals and objectives.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
4. Coordinate and manage site activities, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
5. Monitor and control project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
6. Liaise with internal stakeholders, including construction, technical, and sales teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
7. Manage customer expectations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
8. Identify and mitigate risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
9. Maintain accurate records and reports, including site diaries, progress reports, and health and safety records.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the housebuilding industry, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
* SMSTS or equivalent qualification.
* CSCS Black Card or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
