All benefits subject to availability About the Role As the first point of contact, the Door Person at the Old Course Hotel provides a warm and professional welcome, ensuring guests receive a prestigious "sense of arrival." Responsibilities include greeting guests by name, assisting with luggage, valet parking, and coordinating seamless introductions to reception. The role also involves maintaining a pristine entrance, delivering messages and amenities, and providing knowledgeable insights into hotel facilities and local attractions. Additionally, the Door Person supports guest departures by retrieving vehicles and handling luggage, all while upholding the hotel's exceptional standards of service and hospitality. About You As the ideal candidate for this role, you will be well-presented, polite, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be comfortable engaging with guests from all walks of life, demonstrating a diplomatic and flexible approach to service. The role requires a good level of physical fitness, including the ability to lift up to 60lb.
