Job Description
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - RAIL - NORTH WEST - PERMANENT
Senior Project Manager required to join a leading Network Rail contractor to deliver a number of large scale Rail infrastructure projects. The works will form part of a 5 year framework, and will involve various infrastructure improvement works, new build train stations, platform extension and other Structure renewals.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience of delivering rail infrastructure projects including new station builds
* Excellent understanding of railway construction regulations
* Able to demonstrate an excellent track record of developing a project programme from design, through to operational delivery and handover
* Ability to develop excellent relationships with the client and key stakeholders
* Track record of delivering works in collaboration with supply chain partners, key stakeholders and the end client
The role:
* Planning and programming of all associated works
* Appointment and Management of supply chain partners, including materials, labour and sub-contract packages
* Responsible for planning, commercial, engineering and design functions
* Development of an operational team, with key emphasis on delivering works to design, on site and within budget, whilst ensuring health and safety standards
* Accountable for all P&L associated to the project
* Reporting to the Project Director on a weekly basis where required
Remuneration
* Salary is flexible, likely to be in the region of £80k p/a
