THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced digital salesperson who has operated at a high level within a Partner Sales team selling digital & branded content advertising solutions directly to agencies and advertisers.
This role will suit a self-starter who wants to play a leading role in selling the BBC Studios Sales offering.
You will have excellent relationships with key media agencies and advertisers that buy digital advertising or branded content deals directly from media agencies or clients direct as well as a proven track record in delivering £ millions in digital ad revenues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Grow BBC Studios social advertising revenues across all direct revenue streams incl. branded content, sponsorships and advertising sales
2. Drive digital advertising revenues from both UK and global clients
3. Help implement the commercial strategy for the BBC Studios digital advertising offering
4. Play a key role in the go-to-market of BBC Studios digital advertising in the UK
5. Target agencies and clients to buy digital advertising or branded content deals directly from BBC Studios
6. Management of 1 Account Exec
7. Update and manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting to the Group Head Digital Advertising
8. End to end responsibility of selling BBC Studios digital advertising, social sponsorship packages and branded content deals to UK media agencies and clients
9. Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets
10. Ensure all advertising campaigns adhere to BBC Studios Advertising Guidelines
11. Work with the Ad Ops and Planning teams in successful delivery and measurement of all campaigns
12. Contribute to the Digital AVOD commercial strategy across BBC Group
13. Support the Group Head Digital Advertising on identifying new revenue opportunities on all platforms
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
Key Criteria
14. A successful track record in selling digital advertising/partner sales for a media owner / network, particularly YouTube and branded content
15. Excellent knowledge of the digital advertising market and all social trading metrics
16. Strong contacts at UK media agencies / clients responsible for buying digital advertising including social, digital, AV trading & partnership teams
17. Possess a strong understanding of the Digital AVOD sector, platforms and BBC competitors
18. Global mindset: thinking and acting for both local and global needs
Criteria
19. Excellent working knowledge of Google Ad Manager
20. Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build rapport and credible, trusted and strong working relationships.
21. Knowledge of Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) Regulations
22. Outstanding communication skills both written, oral and presentation.
23. Able to collaborate across organisational boundaries, embrace change, and make improvements to working practices.
24. Self-starter with the ability to see projects through to completion, problem solve, and multi-task under time constraints
25. Previous experience with negotiating and delivering against trading deals

Contract: 14month FTC Mat-leave
Band: E
Salary: £65,000 - £77,000 + London Weighting ( £5,319) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Bonus: 25%
Location: Office Base is London (Where hybrid, please include: This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working)
