The Family Connections team are looking for a Family Support Worker.
The team is made up of Family Support Worker’s and Social Workers, with both managed by Team Leaders. The team is overall managed by Amy McKellar, Adoption & Fostering Manager.
As a Family Support Worker, you will working alongside Social Workers providing support to adoptive families, and may also work on your own directly with adoptive families, children and birth family members affected by adoption.
You will also be asked support families having indirect contact with children who have been placed for adoption.
Experience in dealing with members of the public in person and on the phone are important as is good IT skills.
Hours: 35 hours per week
