Provide parents/carers with knowledge, information and training to facilitate empowerment in relation to the care of the baby. To participate in a personal development program identified following individual performance review. To maintain high standards in all aspects of professional practice at all times to keep up to date with professional developments by attendance and study days and in service training days and educational courses as necessary. Provision of impromptu opportunistic training for members of the MDT. Responsibilities for data and information resources To participate in the Information Management and Technology (IM&T) Strategy of the Trust and ensure handwritten and electronic patient records are maintained for all aspects of patient care. Research, Development and Audit To assist in research, development and audit. Demonstrates ability to use current research finding to develop practice and is able to critically evaluate current practice. Physical Skills and Effort To safely use clinical equipment in order to carry out the job role.
