MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Consumer Goods Business in the search for an eCommerce Manager - Amazon. This is a permanent role based in Kent, UK. As the eCommerce Manager - Amazon, you will be responsible for driving the success of the Amazon business. You will leverage pricing, product range, display, and promotional strategies to gain a competitive edge on the platform. The successful candidate will need to delve into the details of Amazon operations and implement necessary changes. You will report to the Head of eCommerce and may oversee direct reports. We are looking for a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills to drive profitable growth over the short, medium, and long term. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy specifically for Amazon, aligned with the overall business goals. Maximize sales and profitability across all Amazon product categories. Monitor and optimize product listings, including product ranking, searchability, keywords, and content. Lead the Amazon Sales Executive and Amazon Sales Analyst team, adhering to company HR processes. Conduct detailed forecasting to manage stock levels and ensure product availability. Analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and implement effective AMS campaigns and other promotional activities on Amazon. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring clear and effective communication. Relay competitor activity and other relevant market information back to the business. Ensure brand consistency and visibility across the Amazon platform. Track and manage budget expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial targets. Address and resolve any operational issues, including chargebacks and queries, in a proactive manner. Develop and implement full-year promotional plans to drive ongoing sales growth. What are we looking for? Proven experience in eCommerce management, preferably with a focus on Amazon. Knowledge of Shopify or similar. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence within cross-functional teams and work well with colleagues and managers. Catalogue management experience, handling multiple products across various categories. Highly numerate and analytical with the ability to derive insights from data and develop them into actions and recommendations.
