We’re working with a remote, independent product design studio that develops exceptional digital products and is looking for a Senior Product Designer.
Our Client
Relatively new, this independent product design studio has hit the ground running with a major contract with a global sports and fashion brand. They embed themselves within clients’ organisations to enhance their design capabilities, drive meaningful impact, and solve complex design problems. They work remotely, but the founder is Manchester-based, and ideally, you’ll also be based in the North.
The Role
You will take a leading role in shaping the user experiences for one of their prominent clients, a global sports and fashion brand. You will work on projects requiring a deep understanding of UX and UI principles, from accessibility and usability to the creation of scalable design systems and stateful interfaces, ensuring brand and functional consistency. You will also collaborate with stakeholders across Europe and the US, translating complex requirements into impactful designs. Present concepts and final designs to clients and internal teams with clarity and confidence. You will occasionally travel to client locations in Europe and the US to build relationships and deepen project impact.
You
Extensive experience as a Senior UX/UI Designer, ideally within eCommerce or online retail. Experience establishing and using governance frameworks for design systems, ensuring quality, alignment, and lifecycle management. Expertise in accessibility, usability, design systems, and user journey mapping. Proficiency in Design Thinking and workshop facilitation. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of managing diverse requirements. Ideally, you’ll be based in the North, and there will be occasional travel to Germany and the US to meet clients.
