Job Description Early Contract Manager / Project Manager Management Role Location: Cookstown My Client, an award-winning environmental engineering Company specialising in water purification, water recycling, power conservation and distribution solutions, are seeking an experienced Contract or Project Manager to join their team. They provide specialist services to water & power industries worldwide to ensure effective delivery of critical infrastructure. Job Title: Early Contract / Project Manager Location : On-Site Contract Type : Permanent Salary : Negotiable Working hours : 40 Hours per week – 8.00am – 4.30pm or as advised in accordance with specific tasks and job location. The Contract Manager will co-ordinate and manage the pricing and phasing of the various schemes to the required project programme. The role requires collaboration with the supply chain and the project management team. Key Responsibilities Working with the project disciplines to work as one team with our partner ‘be collaborative’. Putting the safety and wellbeing of the team and the airport at the heart of everything you do. Oversee any temporary services required. Review Tender submissions and assist the Procurement team in awarding works packages. Ensure that the proposals are developed and aligned with other project functions and disciplines. Ensure that the proposals are cascaded and understood by the delivery team. Manage the early contract through the design phase and lead contract negotiations with the subcontractor (s) for the delivery of the construction phase. Input into related procurement including identifying long lead time and high-risk items and products to secure the delivery in line with the wider project requirements. Ensure the interfaces with relevant stakeholders or identified and managed. Essential Experience in a similar level role, responsible for the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and control systems including management, procurement, design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover. A professional qualification or degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related subject • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills Desirable Experience of delivering Early contract works on a major infrastructure project.
