Class 1 Drivers needed with immediate starts in Exeter
Pure Staff are looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Exeter area.
Pay rate for Class 1 Drivers:
1. £17.84 for the first 45 hours worked between 06:00 and 18:00
2. £20.52 for any hours worked between 18:00 and 22:00
3. £22.30 for any hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00
4. £26.76 for any hours after 45 hours worked
5. £35.68 for any shift worked on a bank holiday
Start times: between 04:00 and 09:00 starts per day.
Ad hoc shifts OR various fixed shift patterns are available between Monday and Saturday. No shifts on Sunday.
The Class 1 Drivers job itself will consist of multi drop averaging 6 drops per shift to convenience stores across the UK. Shifts averaging 8 to 13 hours per day.
This can be a customer-facing role, so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, showing willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients have the best possible experience interacting with the driver.
Class 1 Drivers will require:
* HGV C+E Class 1 Driving licence
* 1 year HGV Class 1 experience is required due to insurance
* CPC Card
* Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD codes).
Additionally, to the pay, you will accrue holiday pay payable with 7 days' notice of booked holiday. You will also be enrolled after 3 months into a pension.
