Our welcoming and inclusive primary school in Liverpool, L13, is seeking a dedicated and experienced ASC Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil in Recpetion. This rewarding role is perfect for someone with a commitment to supporting children with additional needs, helping them to build confidence, engage with learning, and develop essential social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored, one-on-one support to an EYFS pupil with ASC, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Support the child in classroom activities, encouraging participation and engagement.
* Assist with sensory and emotional regulation, implementing strategies to ensure a comfortable and effective learning experience.
* Foster social interactions, helping the pupil build relationships and develop communication skills.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting children with ASC or related additional needs.
* A calm, patient, and understanding approach, with a passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, SEN training) are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
