Job Overview
This is a two-year CF Trust Fellow post, subject to satisfactory review at one year, due to commence in August 2025 (start date negotiable) at the Liverpool Adult CF Unit at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH).
The Centre is a large adult clinic with over 400 pwCF (people living with CF) living across Merseyside, the Northwest of England, North Wales, and the Isle of Man.
The CF Fellow will be responsible for overseeing the inpatient care of individuals with CF and assisting the MDT in the care of CF outpatients.
Main Duties of the Job
The Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital houses a fully equipped and staffed research laboratory, and the successful candidate will be supported to use this. The Fellow will be expected to:
* Attend and contribute to CF clinic
* Support the CF MDT
* Attend the radiology MDT
On Call
There is an on-call commitment for respiratory medicine which is shared with other SpRs at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and is envisaged to be on a 1:4 weekend rota basis.
Education
A regular programme of conferences, lectures, and seminars takes place within LHCH. The centre is committed to the principal and practice of clinical audit in which all medical staff are expected to participate.

Qualifications
* MRCP(UK) or equivalent
* Full GMC registration
Experience
* Experience in audit
* At least 2 years experience in respiratory medicine
* Experience in research
* Evidence of teaching

* Understand the principles of audit and research
* Good interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Self-motivation
