Environmental Clerk of Works- working on a range of projects, including a large powerline project on the Western Isles and diverse projects across the Highlands
Field Work - Conduct and oversee field surveys, including protected species, habitat assessments and ecological monitoring.
Writing Reports - Prepare detail ecological reports, impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
Client Liaison - Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on ecological issues.
Team Leadership - Mentor and support junior ecologists, creating a collaborative and innovative team environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ecologist to join our well-established company for our Inverness Office. We work on a diverse range of projects from local conservation, to large scale infrastructure developments across the North of Scotland and the Islands. We are dedicated to delivering practical solutions to environmental challenges., The ideal Candidate should have a full UK driving licence, experience within an ecological consultancy, be degree educated in a relevant discipline and be proficient in ecological survey techniques, data analysis and report writing. A strong understanding of Scottish/UK Wildlife legislation, planning regulations and best practices in ecological management.
