* Relevant experience in a medical secretarial role.
* Proficiency in telephony and diary management.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Telephony: Manage incoming calls and communications.
* Room Booking: Coordinate room reservations for meetings.
* Appointment Booking & Diary Management: Schedule appointments and maintain accurate diaries.
* Audio & Copy Typing: Provide typing support for clinical documentation.
* Photocopying & Logging: Handle photocopying tasks and log referrals accurately.
* Updating Information Systems: Maintain and update patient information systems and waiting lists.
* Reception Cover: Provide front desk support as needed.
* Filing System Maintenance: Operate both manual and electronic filing systems.
* Encompass System Operation: Utilise the Encompass system for administrative tasks.
* Additional Duties: Perform any other duties appropriate to this banding.
Salary and Contract Duration:
* Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour
* Hours: 30 hours per week
* Contract Type: 3 months initial
