Are you a Male Support Worker looking for your next opportunity in Care and ready to start immediately?
We are looking for a live-in Support Worker who has experience in this type of role.
The position will be on a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off rota, or if you are available, you can do live-in shifts with other clients.
The CTRC Team is seeking experienced, caring, and professional care staff who are committed and reliable. Training can be provided if necessary. We have opportunities based in Stevenage and other London areas (HA9, N9, E16) to enable Service Users to develop and improve their life skills and encourage clients to lead a full and active life within the community. The role involves promoting the independence of vulnerable adults and striving to enhance individual lifestyles by offering access to social, leisure, and recreational activities, along with support in further education and employment.
We are looking for a carer who is comfortable with mobility, moving and handling, and working with severe learning disabilities with complex needs.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a passion for care. This will be an ongoing care package.
We expect the following from each staff member:
1. To complete mandatory training by CTRC.
2. To have at least 6 months of experience in a caring role; if not, training can be given.
3. To be caring, compassionate, loyal, and reliable.
4. To have good communication skills (both written and verbal).
5. Experience working with severe learning disabilities with complex needs.
6. Flexibility is essential.
Main functions of the job:
1. To support the service user with accessing activities in the community, attending college, and appointments.
2. To promote and encourage independence.
3. To follow and implement individual care plans.
4. To ensure that their basic needs and wellbeing are being addressed and that person-centered care is delivered at the highest standard.
