Summary About the position: This position is located at the Golf Course on RAF Lakenheath. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guarantee. Responsibilities Performs an assortment of duties related to the starter, course marshal and cart/bag storage area. Checks in golfers, assigns tee times and maintains proper order of play. Assists in the coordination and conduct of all scheduled tournaments and golf leagues. May assist Golf Course staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics and other special events. Records and maintains daily statistics on number of rounds played, weather condition and other recordable data. Issues tee times and provides patrons with information on golf course events and activities. Monitors and observes on course pace of play. Removes electric carts in storage area and places in staging area for customer use. Issues cart keys to patrons after verifying payment. Explains course safety rules and regulations to patrons. Assists customers in loading and unloading bags on cards. Clubs stored in the bag storage bins will be cleaned after each use. Cleans carts, fills sand buckets and reconnects carts to charges after each use. Maintains and ensures all water coolers, port toilets and ball washers are clean and in proper working order.
