Job summary Specialist Biomedical Scientist Department : Blood Sciences - Chemical Pathology Fixed-term for 6 months: Band 6 £37,338 - £44,962 per annum pro rata Hours: 37.5 hours per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working An opportunity has arisen within this busy Pathology service to join the Chemical Pathology team for a 6 month fixed term. You will be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who deliver a high-quality service that is responsive to patient requirements. We are looking for a competent and versatile person with an absolute attention to detail. Awareness of the requirements for compliance with the ISO15189 standard is a key requirement for this role. We look continually improve our services for our patients and are therefore looking for staff with the right attitude who will work with us to achieve this. The laboratory is ISO15189 accredited and is an IBMS training laboratory. We are committed to the quality of service we provide our patients and users and have been awarded ISO15189 accreditation for Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion repertoires.
