We are looking for registered nurses who are looking to enhance their clinical skills and develop autonomy in their practice. This links well with the future of nursing. You need to be able to provide exceptional patient centred quality care and constantly seek to improve care through excellence, compassion, respect and teamwork. Part of your duties would include providing high standards of care for patients by admitting patients, screening blood tests prior to infusions, administering infusions, monitoring patients during infusions, managing patients with adverse drug reactions and discharging patients. You will be trained in cannulation and venesection, accessing central lines and portacaths, screening patients and assessing the suitability for treatment, administering intravenous medication, Cytotoxic drug administration and nurse facilitated discharge. You will be responsible for writing discharge summaries, liaising and working with a multidisciplinary team. We are open 5 days a week on Monday to Friday. We are currently closed during the weekends and bank holidays. Our Unit runs early shifts from 07:30 to 15:30, late shifts from 12:00 to 08:00 and flexi shifts from 09:30 to 17:30 We are happy to arrange an informal visit and answer any questions you may have.
