Job summary We are currently looking for a Practice Nurse to join our team here at Grove House Surgery in Bognor Regis. The successful applicant will be involved in several clinical areas such as chronic disease management (diabetes in particular but not essential), vaccination and immunisation, health promotion and all other primary care services. Job responsibilities Our nursing team offers a range of clinical services including health promotion and long-term condition management, NHS Health Checks, hypertension management, contraception and sexual health advice, cervical screening, wound management, travel advice, administration of national childhood and adult vaccinations and phlebotomy. To maintain robust systems of data collection, audit and review of all clinical activities, protocols, care pathways and clinical systems, as needed to ensure good patient care and service is maintained. To participate in Infection Control procedures and protocols and their implementation within the practice. To support in all practice services including Key Performance Indicators, Locally Commissioned Services, Quality Outcome Framework and other incentive schemes.
