The Post:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Orkney Health and Social Care Partnership for a committed, forward-thinking experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Children and Young People’s Therapy Service. You will hold a highly specialised clinical caseload using best practice and evidence-based knowledge in the assessment and formulation of treatment and interventions.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate should possess the following:
1. Significant post registration experience of working with babies, children and young people at a Band 6 level or above in the NHS or equivalent.
2. Occupational Therapy Degree
3. MSc relevant to specialist field/completion of post graduate courses at SCQF level 11 or a willingness to complete this

Location, Working Pattern and Contract Duration:
This post will be based at The Peedie Sea Children’s Centre. The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week (part-time or flexible hours will be considered). This post is on a Permanent Basis.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.
Benefits and Salary:
The salary for this post is on a Band 7 £48,788 - £56,747 pro rata per annum, plus a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,587 pro rata per year if residing on Orkney.
