With a strong reputation for excellence, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and the timely and safe delivery of AV equipment to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, and prepare AV equipment for deliveries and collections.
* Load and unload vehicles.
* Deliver and collect AV equipment to and from event locations, ensuring safe handling and transportation.
* Plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, tyres, and overall condition.
* Ensure all deliveries are completed within the required timeframes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
* Carry out checks and maintenance of AV equipment before dispatch.
* Assist the AV team with stock control, inventory checks, and equipment tracking.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Our ‘Must Haves’
* Valid UK driving licence (clean, held for a minimum of 5 years)
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, ideally within the AV or events industry desired.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends when required.
* To have a keen interest in the Audio Visual Industry.
