YOU can be a part of our legacy Due to internal promotion, we are now recruiting for an Assembly Industrial Project Lead to join our team in Gloucester. This is a key role for the Assembly area of the business, working with cross-functional teams to support the Production function. The purpose of the Assembly Industrial Project Lead role is to work to an industrialisation plan, communicating with engineers and customers to deliver projects. You will be expected to hit deliverables, negating any issues and failings the team may encounter. You will be required to carry out risk assessments and problem solve when any requests for change are submitted, either by the customer or the team. Technical skills required: Basic knowledge in manufacturing processes: machining, assembly, special processes Excellent knowledge of project management processes (APM, PMI, Prince2, etc.) Previous experience in automotive or aerospace industries Good knowledge of industrialisation processes in an aerospace environment: PPAP, FMEA and APQP Lean experience (Green Belt / Black belt) preferable Ability to read and analyse technical drawings and specifications Experience in production and cross-functional environment Complementary Description Why us?
