What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join our West of England team in either Bristol or Cheltenham on a permanent basis.
As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and have gained knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients' aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
To support our Financial Planning team, you will produce robust financial plans and analytical information. You will provide guidance to more junior team members and support senior team members as required to contribute to completion of tasks in a timely manner and to a high standard for the team.
What will you do?
* The role will involve providing appropriate support for our Financial Planners and liaising with the administration team daily.
* You will help facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business.
* Provide appropriate support for Financial Advisers / Financial Planners.
* You will support the preparation of client review and new client meetings.
* You will support delivery of client service under the guidance of Financial Planners.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* You will have attained CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent as a minimum and working towards CII Level 6 or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a Paraplanner.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
* The ability to prioritise your work to meet deadlines.
Nice-to-have
* Attained CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
