Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a Planning and Design Consultancy that specialises in rural development and diversification on the hire of a Senior Town Planner. This is a permanent position with hybrid working options.
Our client works throughout the UK with a wide and varied client base with diverse land and property interests. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experienced property professionals, business consultants, planners, project managers, architects, and landscape architects – all of whom specialise in rural development.
The person
The successful candidate will be resourceful, flexible, and ambitious and be able to demonstrate the following experience:
1. An excellent understanding of client relationship management.
2. Excellent presentation skills.
3. A proven ability to manage workload, budgets and project co-ordination.
4. Experience in business development (advantageous) and project delivery.
5. Competence and confidence to deal with a range of planning disciplines.
Experience of working in a rural planning practice is not essential, but a demonstration of an understanding of rural planning issues is beneficial. Along with a clear interest to work in this sector.
