Job Description
HM Treasury is seeking highly skilled professionals to join its Macroeconomic Assessment team, playing a central role in delivering expert macroeconomic analysis to support policy development.
The role offers an opportunity to work across a wide range of UK macroeconomic issues and the wider policy-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead on the indirect effects process, assessing the macroeconomic impact of government policies and coordinating the work of analysts and policy colleagues.
2. Work closely with the Office for Budget Responsibility, providing analysis necessary to incorporate economic effects into their forecast.
About You:
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in economics or a related field, with a minimum undergraduate degree and preferably a postgraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
You will be able to deliver high-quality economic analysis, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with others to deliver joint objectives.
