Are you looking for the next step in your career?
United Response may have the perfect role for you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our excellent supported living service in Calne as a Lead Senior Support Worker.
This service currently supports one fantastically personable lady who enjoys the independence that comes with living in her own home. It’s critical that we continue to work with the person we support to enable her to live the life she chooses and as a Lead Senior Support Worker you would be a key part of that mission.
As a Lead Senior Support Worker, you would act as a key link between staff and management. In addition to carrying out on-rota Support Worker duties, you would also work alongside the Service Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Your busy role will involve:
* Writing and updating support plans
* Carrying out supervisions and 1-2-1’s with staff
* Displaying best practice and United Response’s values
* Mentoing and supporting the team
* Ensuring that the person we support is at the centre of everything that goes on
About you
Whilst we aren’t necessarily looking for someone with previous experience in a senior position, we do require that candidates have good experience working within social care. It’s important that you not only have experience but that you have the ability to pass on what you have learnt in a professional and friendly way. You should embody United Response’s aim to provide the very highest level of care to the person we support and always do so with a smile on your face.
The needs of this service do require the successful applicant to hold a full driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle.
If you can marry these qualities and experiences with good organisational and time management skills, then you have all the ingredients to make an excellent Lead Senior Support Worker!
The rewards and benefits
In return for your dedication and hard work you will receive:
* 20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays, pro rata for part time)
* Additional annual leave after 3 and 5 years’ service
