ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Cleaner / Cleaning Operative to join our team in a patient care environment based at Rosemary Lane, Bartle, Preston, PR4 0HB.
Job Type: Permanent - Part Time.
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour.
Working Hours: 16Hrs per week, Monday & Friday - 08:00Hrs to 13:30Hrs. Sunday 08:00Hrs to 13:00Hrs.
Start Date: Immediately.
Overview of Role:
As a cleaning operative, you will be required to undertake cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Ensure that our customers have a better day, every day by maintaining clean, presentable, and serviceable assigned areas.
2. Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the Hospital, in line with operational standards.
3. Conduct yourself in a professional, courteous, and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
4. Carry out all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
5. Be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including some lifting.
6. Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, etc.) to meet high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
7. Organise and assist with laundry duties and rotas (where required).
8. Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
9. Take responsibility for your area, ensuring it meets the high standards set.
10. Contribute to maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers on the site.
11. Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
12. Complete any reasonable requests from your line manager applicable to your role.

Previous experience in cleaning is desirable; however, full training will be provided.
