Description
The BDM’s duties include overseeing the sales teams in the region, hire sales
consultants, use business relationships or leads to continue improving collaborations
for growth of investors on the platform. BDM should operate efficiently, continue
improving personal sales, guide or train other regional managers and consultant’s
sales (Sales Management System tool to be used) and use our National or Global
Marketing strategies to be deployed. The other main duties include developing
marketing strategies for the Investor’s growth of business in local/regional
professional network and promotion of Roots funding to ensure that capital fund-
raising campaigns are effective and deliver optimized volume globally. This position
will direct business strategies, sales and marketing through regional managers or
consultants by collaborating with other firms in developing long term strategic
directions as well as tactical plans to support the core initiatives of the business.
Key duties and responsibilities;
* Establish and grow professional relationship with accountants, bankers, real
estate developers and sales agents.
* Develop and coach regional managers on the use Roots Funding’s advertising
media such as digital advertising, social media, blogging, event planning, journal and
content marketing, local marketing and email marketing etc.
* Making sure you and your team follows national financial regulations such as
local Anti Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Acts; report to senior
management immediately upon becoming aware of such incident.
* Championing the active crowdfunding campaign as appropriate across the
organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels and empowering
them as appropriate.
* Provide strategic and tactical management, set directions, and motivate the
regional sales team as well consultant’s team to drive top line, profitable growth
* Assist the regional managers in campaign advising, implementation plans,
engagement activities and promotion ensuring that value is realized for the company
* Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives
of bringing new investors and entrepreneurs and retaining existing investors.
* Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of
market data for short-term and long-term market forecasts and reports.
Manage your team’s marketing budget and expenditures when allocated and
meet deadlines.
Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies.
