The ideal Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager candidate must; Come from a quality hotel / branded restaurant background. Have strong managerial skills. Will be passionate about Food & Beverage. Able to provide exceptional standards of service and customer care under pressure. Demonstrate excellent time management skills. Must demonstrate their ability to deliver against set targets and budgets. Be experienced in stocktaking, ordering and achieving targeted margins. Be experienced in restaurant and bar sales forecasting. Liaise with departments in order to drive promotional activity. Effectively manage, train and develop a team of supervisors, bar and waiting staff. To be inspirational, going out of their way to make sure that the guest experience is the best the guest could have. The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead a team Able to look after large functions to include weddings, conference and lunch/dinner parties Duty manager shifts Hours of Work and Pay This is a permanent full time role, working 48 hours 5 days out of 7 with bank holidays and weekend working on a shift basis due to the nature of our business.
