Job Summary: The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is excited to recruit candidates for a Student Services Coordinator to support Online and Continuing Education programs. The selected individual will coordinate projects, programs, and activities and provide services and/or advisement for potential and/or current students. The coordinator will assess, organize and support the college-wide efforts for the College of Engineering Online Program with specific focus on marketing, recruitment territory, and relationship building with alumni, private industry and working professionals. Additionally, this position will organize and support college-wide administration of the graduate program (both on-campus and online), to include organizing and support for the Graduate Program Officers in each college academic department.

Essential Functions:
* Assists and advises students with academic related issues such as (but not limited to) University or college/school policies and procedures, course selection, supplemental instruction, registration, graduation application, financial aid, scholarship opportunities/processes, certification programs, assistantships, internships, and/or job skill development.
* Reviews and maintains student records such as coordinating input, evaluating transcripts, applications for admission job placement activities, and/or generating reports.
* Advises students in matters related to goals, policies, choice of curriculum, course load, study habits, course scheduling, academic action and problem resolution.
* Coordinates the development and/or preparation of informational materials relevant to students, alumni, and/or donors such as (but not limited to) updating websites, creating brochures, press releases, or newsletters.
* Recruits or coordinates the recruitment of students for programs and/or projects.
* Coordinates student related programs and events for college/school to include (but not limited to) open-houses, award ceremonies, career days, student organizations, etc.
* May assist in educational related activities related to the accreditation process.
* Participation in professional development activities as appropriate.
* Advise department members on academic policies and procedures, such as academic honesty, accelerated masters, etc.
* Coordinate department international programs.
* Maintain undergraduate curriculum documentation including curriculum model(s), prerequisite sheets, curriculum change log, course substitution log, etc. Initiate and manage curricular additions and revisions of courses and programs.
* Assist with various administrative tasks in the department as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Level I: Bachelor’s degree. No experience required.
* Level II: Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience in advising and/or coordinating student services.
* Level III: Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years experience in advising and/or coordinating student services. Advanced degrees may substitute for years of experience.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications:
* Organizing and coordinating skills; excellent communication skills; interacts effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external clients; must have ability to interact effectively & courteously with culturally diverse groups; ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or to decline to reveal information; ability to project a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor. Fluent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and online communications.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in advising and/or coordinating student services or experience related to the Engineering academic area.
* Experience in higher education.
* Salesforce and/or Banner knowledge preferred.
Salary Range: $33,400 - $64,200
