Band 7 Sonographer Locum • Position: Sonographer • Banding: 7 • Location: Edinburgh • Start: ASAP • Rate: £50.00-£52.00 per hour We are seeking a skilled Band 7 Sonographer specializing in Ultrasound/Radiology to join our team in Edinburgh for a three-month period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services. The successful candidate will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care and accurate diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities: As a Sonographer in Ultrasound/Radiology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and imaging quality. You will prepare and position patients, operate advanced ultrasound equipment, and produce detailed reports for clinical use. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will provide essential support in diagnosing and managing patient conditions. You will also adhere to safety protocols and contribute to the overall efficiency and development of the ultrasound service. Requirements: HCPC registration as a Radiographer/Sonographer Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound Extensive experience in general and specialized ultrasound procedures Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and safety standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient care and continuous professional development Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and workloads Previous experience in a similar role is desirable Why work with Pulse?
