Job overview
We are currently recruiting Advanced Therapy Assistants to our musculoskeletal and physiotherapy services. We are looking for candidates with experience in exercise rehabilitation or the exercise health sector to join our physiotherapy team.
Main duties of the job
* Working with patients with a variety of acute and chronic MSK conditions.
* Independent 1:1 caseload of remote rehabilitation and face-to-face working.
* Managing an inpatient or outpatient caseload.
* Administration duties within your role and the team.
* Progression or regression of patient exercise plans.
* Organising and delivering remote and in-person classes.
* Hydrotherapy, exercise prescription, and multidisciplinary working.
* Collaboration with Physiotherapists in the outpatient setting.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
For the role you will be expected to:
* Work independently within the physiotherapy team.
* Prescribe, progress, and develop exercise programs for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
* Support the management of condition-specific exercise classes for adults.
You will need to have a confident approach to work and demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Microsoft computer skills are essential for data collection and reporting.

Physical requirements
* Physically fit and able to carry out moderate physical effort throughout the working day.
Skills
* Highly skilled in treating in a clinical or gym environment.
* Knowledge of health care delivery and the role of the physiotherapist.
* Ability to manage large groups of patients.
* Good awareness of clinical governance issues related to the physiotherapy environment.
Experience
* Patient treatment experience using relevant clinical skills.
* Experience of assessing patients requiring walking aids.
* Experience in the sports and fitness industry.
Knowledge/Qualifications
* Evidence of literacy and numeracy to GCSE level.
* Foundation degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
* Committed to personal development.
