The post holder will provide frontline support services to all servicing teams within the Customer Services Division regarding the processing of illustrations, applications, policy alterations, and general enquiries from Customers and Advisers. This includes analysing and vetting information provided to ensure compliance with legislation, internal policies, and procedures, identifying outstanding requirements, obtaining and applying funds, and liaising with Advisers.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Customers and Advisers through various channels to provide regular and accurate timely updates.
* Identify task and correspondence types, setting up appropriate actions to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Identify and escalate any risks to the customer or the business to your line manager with possible solutions to mitigate these risks/issues.
* Provide administrative support to the servicing teams across a range of queries and products as required by the business.
* Support Advisers who have produced an illustration via an online portal or wish to undertake a Telephone Interview with the customer to obtain medical data.
* Understand our product offering in the context of the industry and communicate confidently with customers while differentiating regulatory and system constraints.
* Undertake quality checking and sampling, providing constructive feedback to peers as required.
* Develop and maintain current knowledge of internal systems to efficiently complete work assignments.
Skills, Attributes, and Behaviour:
* Demonstrable experience in a customer service focused environment.
* Effective handling of challenging and concerned customers.
* High standard of presentation in producing documents and information with accuracy.
* Effective teamwork experience.
* Experience in a fast-paced office environment.
* Basic IT skills, with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Effective planning and organisational skills.
* Effective numeracy and data analysing skills.
* Fluency in one of the following languages: French, German, Italian, Flemish.
* Effective interpersonal skills to develop and sustain relationships.
* GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent, in Maths and English.
