We’re looking for a lawyer (2-5 years PQE) to help our corporate and commercial team advise a diverse client base across a range of areas.
The team acts for a wide range of businesses, mainly established businesses, entrepreneurs, founders involved in a variety of sectors, but mainly the IT sector. We have particular expertise in technology and corporate real estate JVs, but previous experience in those areas is not essential.
This isn’t a “follow the flow chart” role. Although a core part of the role will involve corporate work such as M&A, joint ventures and fundraisings, a large part of the job will involve being flexible about your workload and your approach. Crucially, you’ll be keen to jump in and work independently as part of a busy team.
And while you’ll get the support of some of London’s top legal minds (there are 250 specialists within our walls), you’ll also have the freedom to shape the role and develop your career.
Technical skills and expertise
What you’re like…
1. You have at least 2 years’ PQE, with experience in corporate law.
2. You’re used to working – and thinking – independently.
3. You’re a quick learner with good academic results.
4. You enjoy working as a team with colleagues and clients alike.
5. You’re actively engaged in business development, and keen to help us attract new clients and grow the team.
