Higher Clerical Officer and Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Higher Clerical Officer and Support Worker to join our team at Lurgan Hospital on a temporary ongoing basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our school-based Orthoptic service for special schools within the Trust area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the Orthoptic service, including managing records, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate data.
* Support the delivery of high-quality services to students with special needs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Patterns:
We offer flexible working options to suit your needs, with a minimum commitment of 18.75 hours per week. This can include part-time or full-time hours, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as administration, social care, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
