Job Description
What you’ll be doing…
* Supplier introduction, on-boarding, development and ongoing management
* Improving buying and merchandising intelligence this includes training and the production and management of the scorecard
* Managing the Sourcing Administrator to best support the Sourcing Partner as well as the broader Sourcing team
* Working with the Ethical, Sustainable and Fabric teams to deliver our “Fashion with Integrity” objectives commercially, driving strategic business change and global growth
* Collaborating with Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics on account management
* Managing the supplier database, checking scorecard data and ensuring supplier capabilities are kept up to date
* Working on global initiatives to deliver a fit for purpose supply base for retail teams
* Manage and update any cross-costing projects with new and existing suppliers
* Developing and distributing team communication to internal stakeholders and supply base
* Attending UK supplier meetings and trade shows
Qualifications
We’d love to meet someone with…
* Experience working in a fast pace, retail environment possibly considering moving from other areas of retail e.g. buying, supplier side
* The ability to analyse data in order to set targets and strategy
* Has excellent communication and presentations skills and can adapt their style to different audiences
* Can work as part of a team as well as alone and make decisions
* Has experience in managing a team or team member
* Project management experience
