An exciting Registered Nurse opportunity has arisen to join a team of Specialist Nurses and Health Care Assistants as part of the Cancer Alliance Project within the Urology Directorate at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn.
As a Band 5 Registered Nurse you will have the chance to work alongside Specialist Nurses, and all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in a vital position and a varied and dynamic working environment.

You will be working as part of the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital team based at Queen Elizabeth hospital in King's Lynn. As such you will be well supported by the existing team within Urology to take up this new challenge with a focus on patient pathways and cancer care., We are looking for a Registered Nurse dedicated to provide and monitor a safe, person-centred care to a designated group of patients, service users and families in a range of care settings under the direction of the specialist nurses, without direct supervision in line with an agreed plan of care.
You will be working closely with the Specialist Nurses to support them by contributing to integrated care of on-going assessment and care planning for patients.
To promote health and prevent ill health in patients and service users and contribute to integrated care.
To monitor the condition and health needs of patients on a continual basis in partnership with colleagues, families and carers, referring to others for reassessment, when required.

1. Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and work within limits of competence.
2. To have successfully completed the Trust's preceptorship programme.
3. Maintain a high standard of nursing care applying evidence-based practice.
4. Carry out assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care without supervision.
5. Carry out the daily personal care of patients.
