Services for Young Children (SfYC) Early Years Advisory Team are looking toappoint a dynamic and enthusiastic full:time teacher to the post of AdvisoryTeacher. This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your early years expertise andjoin a supportive team of professionals working across the county to raise outcomesfor all Hampshire children.
The key purpose of the role is to support schools and settings in improving outcomesfor their children through the implementation of the SfYC Strategic Plan. TheAdvisory Teacher role will involve building trusting professional relationships andworking closely with a range of different colleagues and partners across educationalsettings and within Hampshire County Council to deliver quality experiences for ouryoungest children.
As a Qualified Teacher (QTS), you must have current experience and/or knowledgeof working within the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sectors, andacross the birth to five years age range.We are looking for someone who has an excellent knowledge and understanding ofEarly Years with a passion for inclusive practice in all areas of work. You will be ableto challenge existing practices and identify innovative solutions.
This role is offered on a full time basis with starting salary of GBP 45,646 plus TLR 2 allowance at GBP 3,391 per annum. You will work across Hampshire in different districts according to need andskills.You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire (and the Isle of Wight or other local authority), and it is essential that you have a current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
