About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, focusing on developing athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate a variety of sports and physical activities, including team sports, individual sports, and fitness training. Assess student progress through practical assessments, fitness tests, and written work, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies within the PE department, staying abreast of current sports science and training techniques. Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, school teams, and sporting competitions, promoting student engagement and athletic excellence. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of physical activity and well-being throughout the school community. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Physical Education and a specialization in female sports. Experience teaching PE to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate young female athletes. Proficiency in a range of sports and physical activities, with a focus on female-specific sports. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
