The role is to assist the Conwy Finance Team with key tasks in order to effectively report our UK and Group positions to key management and executive team regularly.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out bookkeeping duties for the Corporate UK Entities and any month end journals as requested.
* Assist in preparation of monthly group consolidation journals.
* Administration of group budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Regular reporting of group receivables and payables along with narrative.
* Analysis of entity and group management accounts where required.
* Assist with Group and UK audit queries.
* Cover for Financial Administrator role.
* To assist other colleagues as may be deemed necessary.
Person, Skills, and Knowledge Specification
* Previous accounting experience required ideally within an Accounts Payable or transactional role.
* AAT qualification desirable, but not essential.
* Ability to work with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
* Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables etc desirable.
* Knowledge of basic accounting skills including double entry, journals and analysis.
* Experience of processing multi-currency transactions.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise in a professional manner with both internal and external clients.
* Accuracy and attention to detail is an important skill required for this role.
* Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
* Ability to manage own workload and communicate with management where capacity issues exist.
