Casual role around Exams (November, March, May, June)
Outwood Academy Brumby is proud it is rated Good by Ofsted. We are based in the friendly North Lincolnshire town of Scunthorpe with easy access to stunning countryside. The Academy became part of the Outwood Family of Schools in 2012 and has been transformed beyond recognition, having formerly been in Special Measures.
We place students at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on creating a culture of success and a positive climate for learning. As an Academy we believe that learning should be both enjoyable and enriching and are innovators with a knowledge-rich curriculum designed to personalise learning for every student helping them to reach their potential.
The role of the Exam Invigilator is essential to the smooth running of the examination process so we would like to appoint Exam Invigilators with the drive to contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition and mutual support within our Academy. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, you will be responsible for setting out and collecting exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall/exam room and invigilating. You may also be required to read and/or scribe for students.
To be successful, you will need to be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise workload and ensure strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on your own initiative, be a role model to others and work within a team environment is key.
