We’ve developed a sophisticated fulfilment network with 5 warehouses around the world to support sales to 90 countries in 2024. We’ve designed fulfilment processes which are mirrored in our operations around the world but we’re in a high growth phase at the moment and are continually improving efficiency to keep up with demand. The time has come for us to find a Global Warehouse Coordinator to join us to help us continue to deliver exceptionally high standards as we grow In this new role, you’ll manage, and get stuck in with, all warehouse operations across our global fulfilment operation. Alongside our Dorset-based HQ, we have internally managed fulfilment centres in the USA, Canada, Germany and Australia. You will take the lead in setting the standards across these sites, rolling out system improvements and helping develop process changes, ensuring that each operation has the tools needed to succeed. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and Logistics and Warehouse Management Team to achieve this. You’ll be intrinsically involved in our global operations, working with and developing relationships with our freight forwarding partners to quote, organise and follow through freight movements to their conclusion in a timely and cost-effective manner. Alongside managing internal freight movements, you’ll assist the wider team in delivering goods to our larger partners on time and to specification. We’re a rapidly growing brand, and a key part of your role will involve identifying and actioning the efficiencies of scale we’re reaching, whilst navigating the challenges that this brings. The founder of the business, Andy Blow, is a recognised thought-leader in sports science, has set up a number of successful businesses and was an elite triathlete back in the day. Our COO, Jonny is an engineer by training and won 2 Silver medals at the Canoeing World Championships before being instrumental in developing our innovative product range and spearheading our supply chain and fulfilment operations, enabling us to grow into a truly global business. Our Head of Operations, Sam, has years of experience in fulfilment management from both the client and 3PL side and has taken a leading role in shaping what has become a very sophisticated global logistics set-up. You'll join an experienced crew of A-Team’ entrepreneurs and have a real responsibility to have an impact from day one at PF&H. RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the day-to-day running of our global warehouses. This will include; Working closely with each of our Warehouse Managers to ensure all of our orders are shipped on time and to our high standards Ensuring each warehouse has the correct staff hours allocated to support the forecasted demand Managing stock levels of required consumables across the warehouses Being responsible for overseeing Health & Safety across all warehouses as well as supporting appropriate staff training Proactive communication with your team, giving regular feedback on performances Overseeing the global pick, pack and dispatch of B2C and B2B orders including driving the development and optimization of our processes as we scale Working closely with our Operations Team to prepare large warehouse and factory stock movements to ensure we have adequate global stock at all times This will include the end-to-end management of Amazon FBA replenishments Taking a lead with courier relationships, striving to obtain the best possible service level Identifying potential scale of economies to capitalise on across our sites SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS: 3 years or more experience in an e-commerce fulfilment operation is essential You’ll be experienced in warehouse management, KPIs and have a wider awareness of the postal / courier industry A proven track record of building relationships with suppliers to procure goods and services Strong attention to detail, taking pride in and owning what you do A commitment to teamwork through relationship building, reliability and collaboration Driven to develop and spread a positive and cohesive team culture Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and can do attitude Competent in digital applications, especially spreadsheets You should be comfortable in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise in an e-commerce environment (hardware and software) Material handling repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking and lifting up to 25kg. You should also be comfortable using a hand-operated pallet truck, and ideally hold a counterbalance forklift certification.
