Job Title: Sales Account Manager
The Electronics Group is the UK’s leading provider of accredited IPC and non-accredited electronics training, specialist technical recruitment consultancy and technical inspection services. In short, we are the country’s go-to electronics manufacturing support business. Having been established for over 25 years, we have built a brand synonymous with delivering excellence to electronics companies up and down the UK, Europe, and further afield.
Our clients range from small manufacturing shops to large multinational blue-chip companies.
We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our business on a full-time basis.
This role is the focal point for our customers, and you will be the main person our clients liaise with on a day-to-day basis. This role is 80% focused on Account Management with 20% of the role being business development to ensure continued growth for the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries and bookings
2. Consult with clients to provide the best solution to their needs
3. Manage the full booking process, with support from the Business Administrator
4. Ensure complete accuracy with quotes, bookings and invoicing
5. Be a brand ambassador for the business
6. Attend sales events and roadshows
7. Work with the General Manager to grow the business
8. Become an expert in our products and become the go-to person for internal and external queries
9. Work closely with the Training Manager to manage schedules
Key Skills
1. Experience in sales and account management
2. Ability to multitask and work with high accuracy and attention to detail
3. Willing to learn new products and services
4. Organised and flexible
5. Autonomous and able to use own initiative to make decisions
What we offer
1. Full product and process training
2. Salary of £25,000 - £35,000 experience dependent
3. Up to £3,000 monthly commission (sales figures dependent)
4. Annual bonuses
5. 25 days annual leave
6. No weekend or bank holiday working with a Christmas shutdown period
