Full time, Fixed Term Contract: 4 months from 28 April 2025
The role is based primarily in the Festival’s central London offices, with some degree of flexible working, but an average of 3 days in the office per week. Plus, up to six days spent in Edinburgh over the Festival period in August from the 18th to 23rd. Travel to and accommodation in Edinburgh for this week is provided by the Festival.

About the Role
The Programmes Assistant will work directly with the Impact Unit to provide support for the planning, implementation, and delivery of our suite of new talent and career development programmes and events.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team behind one of the industry’s biggest events and to support people from all backgrounds gain access to and take the next leap in the TV industry. The successful applicant will gain experience in talent management, events production, and project management, and further their knowledge of the TV industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the application, assessment, and selection process for all our career development programmes.
* Support delivery of the new talent and career development programme on site in Edinburgh.
* Assist with the coordination and production of events in both London and Edinburgh.
* Assist the outreach and marketing of all TV Foundation events and programmes.
* Maintain Impact Unit’s documents and records.
Person Specification:
* Strong organisational skills to plan and prioritise while responding flexibly to changing priorities.
* A self-starter with a pro-active approach.
* Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Experience working in a public-facing environment.
* Understanding and knowledge of the TV industry.
* Knowledge of marketing and content creation.
