Sinch is seeking a strategic and dynamic Communications Manager, APAC to lead and execute our corporate communications efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying Sinch’s brand reputation, driving thought leadership, and ensuring consistent messaging across media, PR, internal communications, and digital channels. As a key member of the Sinch regional marketing team, you will collaborate closely with APAC sales, PR agency, and leadership teams, as well as the global marketing and PR teams, to craft compelling narratives tailored for diverse APAC audiences.
What do you do in the role?
As the Communications Manager, APAC, you will be responsible for:
1. Corporate Communications & PR
Develop and execute a regional communications strategy aligned with Sinch’s business objectives in APAC.
Lead media relations efforts on behalf of Sinch, securing coverage in top-tier tech, business, and telecom publications.
Collaborate with PR agencies to craft press releases, bylines, and thought leadership content that highlight Sinch’s innovations.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to continuously refine Sinch’s PR strategies.
Serve as a Sinch spokesperson when required and provide media training for Sinch executives.
2. Internal Communications
Design and implement internal communication initiatives to keep Sinch employees in APAC informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals.
Partner with HR and leadership to disseminate Sinch announcements, foster a strong company culture, and manage change communications.
Support executive communications by preparing speeches, presentations, and organizing regional town halls for Sinch.
3. Content & Thought Leadership
Create and localize compelling content—including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and video scripts—tailored for Sinch’s APAC audiences.
Collaborate with Sinch subject matter experts to position the company as a leader in CPaaS and cloud communications.
Oversee Sinch’s corporate social media channels and local channels across the APAC region.
4. Crisis & Reputation Management
Develop and execute crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate reputational risks for Sinch APAC.
Lead proactive issues monitoring and response strategies across Sinch’s markets in the region.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with Sinch’s regional leadership, marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure a consistent communications strategy.
Engage with industry bodies, regulatory stakeholders, and key partners to reinforce Sinch’s positioning in the APAC market.

2. Strengthen partnerships with industry bodies and regulators, reinforcing Sinch’s position as a CPaaS leader.
3. Enhance social media engagement by increasing reach, impressions, and interaction rates.
4. Grow content performance, tracking website traffic, blog views, and lead generation.
5. Improve internal communications effectiveness with high email open/click-through rates and positive employee feedback.
6. Ensure rapid crisis response with swift resolution times and improved post-crisis sentiment.
What experience / qualities you need to bring with you
1. 6+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or a related field, preferably in B2B tech, SaaS, or CPaaS.
2. Demonstrated understanding of APAC media landscapes, cultural nuances, and market dynamics relevant to Sinch.
3. Proven expertise in media relations, content strategy, crisis management, and internal communications.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in an additional APAC language is an advantage.
5. Experience working in a fast-paced, global tech company, ideally within Sinch’s industry space.
6. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple projects.
7. Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with global remote teams, as exemplified by Sinch.
