We’re currently undergoing recruitment for a Business Development Executive to join our prestigious and dynamic client in the Welshpool area. This is a full time, straight to permanent position. Main roles and responsibilities: Collaborate with new and existing customers to create and implement sales plans that drive business growth. Address customer queries and concerns promptly, providing updates and information to ensure the company remains a preferred and reliable partner. Identify and pursue growth opportunities through meetings, networking, exhibitions, and other channels. Work closely with the Sales team to develop effective sales and market strategies. Negotiate contracts and supply agreements with key customers. Prepare financial forecasts and regional sales targets. Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and participate in sales meetings. Generate detailed monthly and annual reports for management. Provide feedback to Product Management and Innovation teams on product improvements and future development needs to maintain a competitive edge. Contribute to the development of new products for emerging strategic markets. Skills and Qualities: Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology, including the ability to explain and demonstrate its features and benefits to customers. Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying new customers and business opportunities. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to travel and work internationally. Proficient IT skills (experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is a plus). Ability to regularly update and maintain company CRM systems. Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. Experience in writing detailed reports. Fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
