What will I be doing?
As their Systems Technician, you'll be supporting the production and build of a range of laser systems and other similar products.
You'll be a key member of the Systems team, working closely with colleagues to assist with the assembly of electrical control panels and production automation cells. You will also be tasked with the upkeep of drawings packs, user manuals, and maintenance documents, helping to ensure operational efficiency.
This role will see you working closely with customers, supporting new and existing installations. With a comprehensive training plan and experienced team on your side, you'll quickly hone your skills to become an in-house expert, using your expertise to provide first-class technical support to a global customer base.
With international travel on the cards, we're also seeking individuals that are comfortable with spending time away from home when required (estimated 20% travel).
To thrive in this role, you will have:
1. A formal engineering qualification (HND/Time served apprenticeship) gained in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or similar environment.
2. Proven experience in an industrial environment (ideally within manufacturing).
3. Experience working with workshop tools and test equipment.
4. Comfortable with understanding customer issues and solving challenges.
5. The drive to learn, make mistakes, and grow in an exciting environment.
6. The ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
