* Pay rate: £12.36 per hour, plus mileage reimbursed
* Contract: Hours offered on an 'as and when required' basis (zero hours contract)
About the role
It's exciting times at Churchill Estates Management and due to our growth, we are looking for a compassionate Relief Lodge Manager for our retirement developments across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset & Wiltshire.
You'll cover the absences of permanent Lodge Managers on an "as and when" basis at Lodges within reasonable travelling distance for you. Managing both the maintenance of the property and providing a first-class service to Owners, you'll be working at the heart of Churchill Estates Management, promoting a happy and fulfilling lifestyle for Owners.
Based at a central desk within the development, you'll be a visible and reassuring presence, while administering the office, arranging contractors to maintain the building and complying with health and safety checks and standards.
From facilitating social events to supporting the sales team with customer viewings you'll play a key role in the business and liaise with a range of departments and external contacts.
About you
Location-wise, this role would suit someone based in the Wiltshire area, with the ability to travel East or West towards Hampshire and Somerset, and you will be content to work as and when required (hours are not guaranteed). The position won't be suitable for people who are already committed to permanent work elsewhere.
It's important that you understand our customers and have a desire to make a positive difference. With the focus on providing a happy and fulfilling lifestyle for the Owners, you'll have an outgoing and friendly personality with a love of people and socialising. You'll know when to act with sensitivity and diplomacy but also have the efficiency and assertiveness to manage the safety of the Owners and the security of the developments. Despite the high levels of social contact, you'll also be happy working independently on your own initiative.
To support with the organisation of events and administer the maintenance of the site, you'll be computer literate with previous experience of using MS Office applications.
Previous property management, social housing, retail, care work, customer or hospitality experience would be advantageous.
