Our team work as the trusted Finance partners to Retail, the largest division within Lloyds Banking Group, providing cost partnering, key analysis and insights to support Retail operate efficiently and effectively for its customers. The key responsibility of the Senior Finance Cost Partner is to act as a trusted advisor to LBG Retail CFA and COO Teams. To be their ‘critical friend’ by providing commercial insight and challenge to support their Business objectives. This role reports to the Head of Retail Cost Partnering As Finance Partners we monitor, anticipate, and assess any potential future impacts on the business. We demonstrate an un-questionable appetite and curiosity to understand the Businesses we support, using our knowledge of the commercial drivers to tell a clear and concise story behind performance, and to formulate compelling business cases to transform at pace to meet the changing needs of our customers. Day to day, you'll: Contribute to the setting and subsequent delivery of the business goals through the provision of key commercial decision support Be responsible for leading the direction, content, and insight of financial and commercial performance Interpret & present management reports to senior collaborators, ensuring that insight, results, and issues are well understood and explained in a way that is relevant Champion enhancing cost data and insight; driving forward the agenda of regular ad hoc proactive analysis Collaborating across teams to prepare regular forecasts including group-level quarterly forecast and 4 Year Operating Plans and monthly latest views articulating associated risks and opportunities Full engagement with Platform and Segment teams on relevant Group Strategic Review projects and investment benefits for Colleague Channels.
