Senior Buyer (075dm) – Worcester, West Midlands - £35000- £40000 DOE
Our client is a leading provider of through-life support services across diverse sectors such as Aerospace, Automation, Defence, Energy, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, and Transport.
They are now looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team in Worcester.

As a Senior Buyer, you will lead a small team, develop purchasing strategies, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and manage a team of buyers, providing guidance and support to achieve OTIF targets.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to enhance cost savings and supplier performance.
• Conduct market/data analysis to identify trends and new supplier opportunities.
• Support bid submissions, ensuring accurate and timely purchasing information.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, maintaining strong relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and provide solutions
• Maintain and develop existing customer and supplier relations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices in procurement.
• Support sales and store teams with collaborative projects.
What they are looking for:
• Proven experience as a Buyer with a strong track record in purchasing and supply chain management.
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• CIPS qualification (or actively working towards it) is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
